We are happy to be able to provide a safe and engaging community for people living with Parkinson’s Disease.
We recognise the challenges that a person living with Parkinson’s can face each day and how the significance of receiving regular therapy, support and consistent social stimulation helps maintain both physical and mental wellbeing. We also appreciate that Parkinson’s can affect different people in different ways and each individuals needs can change over time. Our team take particular care in listening and learning from each individual and their families about how the condition affects them, from before they arrive in their new home and on a regular basis thereafter.
We understand the importance of person-centred care which is tailored to each individual, their needs and preferences. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, co-ordinated care to each resident to ensure their wishes are supported and respected and that they are not defined by their condition. We encourage our residents to be independent when they are able, whilst being on hand to offer additional help in a dignified and respectful manner when required.
